The film... "Up" was on first thing in the morning after disgusting breakfast. Gas show! Landed in Lima around ten - a couple of hours early! The lads were heading on the 17hr bus up the coast to Mancora around 3pm and I said to hell with it, I'll just book on as well! So got a seat sitting beside them, was able to pay with the voucher I'd got from when my bus was cancelled due to the strike too, so all good!
We'd a few hours to kill and taxi driver advised to go to a place overlooking the sea. It turned out to be a rich shopping mall and it was indeed overlooking the sea!

From our breakfast table - overlooking the Pacific, pity it was so cloudy |

While in the mall, we were advised to go to a place called Mango's for a breakfast buffet. It was S40 (about €10) and it was incredible. It's definitely the best buffet I've ever tasted. Fruit, fruit juices, cereal, eggs benedict, steak, yogurt and a million other things including a lad who'd cook omelettes in front of you! It was simply beautiful. And the view was excellent too! Great call to go there!

Overlooking the Pacific after the best buffet ever - I appear to be badly in need of a haircut |
Headed back to catch bus at 3pm and over the next few hours we were "treated" to the following:
- Furry Vengeance - horrendous rubbish.
- The Blind Side - brilliant book, poor film. How on earth did Sandra Bullock win an Oscar for this!?
- 28 dresses - don't hate myself enough so refused to watch this scutter.
... and bus bingo of course - highlight of the day! 3 way tie for the victory speeches but none of us lads were involved!

Shaking with excitement during bus bingo! |
